Our team first took the bus to Zurich Airport in Kloten. As soon as we entered the hangar, it was clear that this was a place where impressive dimensions met the highest precision. During the tour, we were able to experience firsthand how aircraft maintenance is carried out – technology you can touch and marvel at. Amidst gigantic aircraft, specialized tools, and clearly structured processes, we gained exciting insights into the processes that ensure maximum safety behind the scenes. The explanations of engine technology in the turbo hall were particularly impressive: high-tech, attention to detail, and absolute responsibility—here, it becomes clear how much expertise, teamwork, and passion go into every single takeoff.

The change of perspective – from our own everyday work into the world of aviation technology – was inspiring and once again showed how crucial well-coordinated teams, clear processes, and quality awareness are for success.

Afterwards, we went to a Turkish restaurant in our home region, where we were treated to culinary specialties. It was an all-around successful day – with exciting insights, good food, and valuable time spent as a team.
